Jord Watches

Jord, which is pronounced (YO’d) a Swedish word for earth, soil, or land. These words play on the materials used to craft their watches, which are all natural resources. What makes this company even more appealing to me is their St. Louis origin; the company was founded in 2013 and is based here in the Midwest! I can’t say that I knew much about the company prior to receiving my watch, but what I’ve found is a quality piece of jewelry uniquely crafted and sized for each individual wrist. The watched featured is the Frankie 35 Series color Zebrawood & Champagne. I decided on this particular color keeping in mind fall earth tone colors and how easy it would pair with different looks. The Frankie Series is really sleek and classy, however, I found the face of the watch to be a little overbearing for my small wrist. While this particular watch is a unisex I feel that women with smaller wrist should go with the Frankie Series 35, which is a smaller face. Or keep in mind the other women watches offered in smaller face sizes. The watch has a very nice fit and doesn’t feel uncomfortable, one of the many questions I’ve been asked since wearing it. It’s very light in weight making it almost disappear on your wrist. One of my favorites touches is the carvings on the inside of the watch. It features the Jord logo along with text that reads “Born in St. Louis” making it extra special to me.
